This guide explains how to automatically generate and freely edit chord progressions in
MUSIA ONE Basic mode.
Even beginners can follow along easily by proceeding step by step!
- The First Screen of Chord Progression
When you access MUSIA ONE Basic mode, the chord progression editing view will appear at the top of the screen. Here, you can generate and edit your chord progressions.
- Using the AI Auto-Generate Button
Click the AI Auto-Generate button on the left side of the screen to let MUSIA ONE automatically generate chord progressions for you. Try different combinations to see what fits your style.
- Listening to Chord Progressions
You can also listen to the generated chord progression through playback. Keep generating new ones until you find a chord progression you like.
- Adjusting Chord Length
Click on a chord you want to edit, then drag the handles on either side of the chord block to adjust its length.
- Setting Chord Length Units
The chord length adjustment unit can be changed in the ‘Snap Size’ menu located at the top right of the view. For example: Selecting 1/16 unit allows you to adjust by 1/16 beats and selecting 1 unit allows adjustments by 1 bar.
Caution: Be careful as increasing the length may cause the chords on both sides to disappear and be covered by the current chord.
- Changing Chords
Click on a chord block to change it to any chord you like. If you want to complete your own chord progression with a different chord, try changing the chord using the recommended chords.
- Changing Instruments
Below the AI Auto-Generate button, select your desired instrument to hear the chord progression in that instrument's sound. Try different instruments to compare the mood.
- Adding Part Tabs
If you need a new chord progression, add a part tab. You can complete another chord progression by adding a new tab and repeating steps 1-5.
By following these simple steps, you can create your unique chord progressions quickly and easily!
